Dorian
You say you're fine
Submitted by Megan (nat) on Fri, 01/13/2012 - 00:20Who: Dorian and Megan
Where: Alexandria
When: late
He’d found his way back to Marquette and the bookstore, dragging his feet as he let himself in. He could have gone home, but home wasn’t where he wanted to be. Being Famine wasn’t always a bad gig. Dorian liked spreading the right knowledge, liked people taking the right knowledge and often they did good things with it. Though sometimes, sometimes when he spread the right knowledge he knew he was clearing a path for Death to follow in his footsteps. Though it was the job, it was the balance they sought, sometimes it was hard to do, hard to walk away, knowing he’d just set something tragic in motion and not be worn down by it.

Where: Alexandria
When: late morning
Dorian was tired and he was pretty sure it showed. His hair was a bit of a mess from his hands being in it, the steaming cup of coffee in front of him was his third and it wasn’t working. Being Famine was usually pretty straight forward, usually a matter of clearing up information and setting people straight. The problem this time was that, in order to keep Star’s balance, setting them straight meant wiping out a community. He hated it, in a way, but at the same time he realized the point. It just couldn’t be. Normally the job just made sense, he was distanced from the results, but this time he’d been in it, the informed source that was explaining why death was the right option.
Unexpected Turns
Submitted by Megan (nat) on Mon, 12/19/2011 - 23:58Who: Megan and Dorian
Where: Dorian's Old Apartment/Megan's New Apartment
When: Afternoon
Megan had shucked off her Henley early on in the unpacking process – the chill that had been in the air had given way to a hazy warmth – and she adjusted the strap of her tank top with one hand while the other undid the box on the table in front of her. The windows were thrown open and a fan was going. Dorian’s scent permeated everything and she was doing her best to try get rid of it. It was weird, being surrounded by boy smell, plus the mustiness of the bookstore below but there was something oddly comforting about it that she wasn’t entirely sure about.
Questions and Concerns
Submitted by Dorian (winglessangel) on Wed, 10/19/2011 - 04:44Who: Dorian and The Mourning Star (NPC)
Where: Alexandria
When: immediately after this
Dorian watched the curious girl leave, head tilted to one side. That was just weird. Really weird. He had weird interactions with people, but nothing like that. “I know it’s a little ridiculous to think you’re that omniscient, but really that was just weird. If I were Star I might be, well curious.” He was talking to himself and he realized that was a touch crazy. At least it was crazy until Star showed up. If she showed up.
Unwanted surprise
Submitted by Isobel (nat) on Tue, 10/18/2011 - 17:36Who: Isobel and Dorian
Where: Alexandria
When: Afternoonish
Isobel was scrolling through her contacts in her cell phone, wondering who it was that she could call that might have the information she needed. Her mother was her first thought, but she’d tried that particular number and it hadn’t work, which meant that her parents were outside of the loops and might as well have been in the middle of the Amazon for all the good it would do. Christer had seemed to know some information, but the suspicious looks the kid had given her had Isobel nixing that particular avenue of information.

Where: Alexandria
When: early afternoon
Dorian had been more than busy the past few days. Things were still crazy outside of Marquette and though he thought that his new job might keep him on the home front more than his brothers he’d been pulled out into the world more than he would have liked with Caleb in the hospital. He made time to check in on his brother though it meant that when he wasn’t out being famine he was being the big brother. It was such that when he finally opened the doors to Alexandria he really hadn’t done that in a few days. If the shop was going to stay open more often he was going to need to hire someone to work part time.

Submitted by Dorian (winglessangel) on Sat, 06/25/2011 - 16:36Who: Dorian and Caleb
Where: MGH
When: evening
Dorian had drifted from the room about the time Caleb woke up, needing a refill on his coffee and when he came back Jen was there, talking to Caleb. As much it pained him to not be there right when his brother woke up, he gave him time with her waiting patiently until she left.
Once she was gone he went into the room, leaning against the doorway for a moment. “How you doing?” he asked coffee cup in hand, waiting to be invited all the way into the room.

Submitted by Kayos (taffy) on Wed, 06/22/2011 - 13:58Who: Dorian and Kayos
Where: MGH
When: morning
Everything had been a little bit of a blur since they’d arrived at the hospital. The doctors or nurses were people without faces that had taken his brother from his arms, laying him on a stretcher and wheeling him away. There was someone with a hand against his chest, telling him to stay where he was, an arm pulling him back gently. Someone else had noticed that the blood on him wasn’t all Caleb’s and that the cut on his arm was bleeding well enough to need stitches. He’d been ushered to another place, away from the door they’d taken his brother through and sat him down. It wasn’t until the nurse actually start stitching him up that he winced and focus came back.
pulled from the darkness
Submitted by Dorian (winglessangel) on Mon, 06/13/2011 - 13:44who: Dorian and Jen with Caleb and Kayos
where: Manchester
when: very early morning
Dorian’s nerves were on high alert and they were lucky they’d run into very little trouble as they made their way through the city to building where Caleb was. If they had, Dorian would have probably made a loud scene shooting the daylights out of it and thus done nothing but attract more attention and more trouble. It would have been both Lockwood brothers bleeding out somewhere.
As they approached the building Dorian held the shotgun up motioning for Jen to move behind him. There was no telling what lay beyond the door, and he knew full well he was a little trigger happy, but he forced himself to take a deep breath, glancing at Jen once more before opening the door.
