Name: Jessica 'Jess' Tullson
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Location: Marquette

Supernatural Affinity
Type:

Werecat

Powers:

Has the ability to shift into her changeling form of a black house cat will. Has a third half-human, half-cat form.

Appearance:

Jess stands at about five feet five inches, not extremely tall but not overly short either. She's average weight as well. With chestnut hair naturally, Jess enjoyed dying her hair different colors when she had access to an assortment of dyes, but ever since things went wonky she's resorted to leaving it its natural chestnut brown. Her choice of clothing is eclectic at best, but despite it all she feels as though she has the best fashion sense around.

Personality:

Jess is very outspoken. She has no problem telling you when she thinks your wrong and or agreeing with you when she thinks you're right. She's loud and can be in your face about her disapproving or disagreeing with you. But just as easily as she disagrees, Jess can flip a coin and be your number one fan days later because Jess is fickle when it comes to people.

Just like other werecats, Jess is overdramatic. She can come off as spoiled and expectant; Jess has a tendency to pout when things don’t go her way and is known around her household for making scenes when the pouting bit doesn’t work. She takes things fairly personally and has a hard time brushing off insults. She is also very vocal about feeling insulted . If she’s been hurt by someone, they’ll know and she’ll expect an apology immediately even if she doesn’t choose to forgive them right away.

History:

Jess is your typical teen, except for one thing. She was born from a werecat mother and a human father. She is the only one of her three siblings to also be born a lycanthrope, although her parents weren’t aware of her change until they saw a tiny little housecat sitting before them during her first changing. Her mother was most surprised, hoping that if she had a child with her gift, he or she would follow in her footsteps and be a proud lynx like she was.

But Jess was not and would never be a lynx and she was fine with that. It was easier to pass off as a housecat than a lynx and it meant she got to explore more easily than her mother did. And she did. Often at nights when she was younger, Jess would prowl around outside of her house, checking out the nooks and crannies of the backyard. Now that she’s older, her range of area has increased and she likes to prowl around Marquette’s streets, always like she owns them.

Jess lived out her live happily, curiously, and loudly throughout she got to high school. She stumbled into the theatre one day while a rehearsal was in progress and found herself in love with it. The drama, the mystery, the majesty of it all. She was hooked and suddenly she was auditioning for everything. If she didn’t make a part, she’d sulk for a while then sign up to be the light operator, deciding that if any of the actors pissed her off she’d just give them the poorest light of all.

When school didn’t matter as much, Jess went as long as she could. She was the last person in the drama club to leave, the one who helped their volunteer teacher lock up the stages on the last day she was there. Sometimes she still goes back, snatches a key from the teacher and walks around, but most of the time she’s too sad to think about what she’s missing to do that.

Special abilities and skills:

Knows her way around a light booth. She’s handy with wood, nails, hammers and the like thanks to set design. She even has mild sewing skills thanks to patching up torn costumes.

Weaknesses:

Can't take it - She can dish it out but she can't take it. Jess, for all her talk, has a thin skin and is easily offended by remarks people have made about her. It leads to her being overdramatic and easily hurt.

Curiosity- She’s inherently curious. It’s something she’s never been able to shake and something she doesn’t really want to shake despite how dangerous it can be. It keeps things interesting.

Vain - Despite the fact that her fashion sense is not traditional and nor are her hairstyles, Jess still thinks she’s hot stuff. She thinks she can rock her crazy dress and her craziest pair of tights and still look better than Hiedi Klum ever did.

Unpredictable - Another trait borrowed from her werecat instincts, Jess is certainly unpredictable. At any moment, she can be mad, sweet, or anywhere in between.

Competitive - Jess feels a need to be the best at everything, including but not limited to acquiring sexual partners. Because werecats are inherent sexual beings, Jess spent many a day in highschool instigating fights or yelling at other girls who were pursuing the same guys she was interested in.

Fragile - Jess’ strongest form is her half human-half cat form like other born lycanthropes, but her full cat form is fragile. Unlike her mother’s sturdier form, Jess’s house cat form is weak in comparison to other lycanthropes.

Strengths:

Agile - Jess has great balance. She almost always lands on her feet and tends to be very stable when it comes to balance issues.

Heightened senses - Smells, sounds, and tastes are all heightened to Jess. It helps her keep track of where she is, who’s around her, and what’s going on.
