This is where available connections to characters in game go! If you're looking for an in for a new character, or have just dropped a new NPC into your character's life, this is the place for things to be put out there so everyone can get things together!

Also, if you are looking for someone to pick up a specific character for you, or just that you have an idea that may be interesting in game, comment below! Also, feel free to add in those connections you'd like in game - someone might already have a character in play who would fit perfectly for what you have in mind! So - general plotting conversations in comments is fine and encouraged! We'll clean out the comments from time to time, so people can keep track of what's what!

Adoptable Characters
We know that for some people, sitting down and writing a full application can be daunting. Especially when you're joining a new game - you don't know what to expect, or what's wanted. You may be worried about bringing in a character that has absolutely no connections, and worried about whether they will fit.

To help people out in this, we have a selection of adoptable/skeleton characters. Each one of these is a basic, acceptable character profile which has been written up by one or more of the players already in the game. Some of them may have been played before, others are written up by one of our players specifically with the idea that someone else would play them (usually when they have a fixed idea in their heads about how a character connected with one of their own, or useful for the game at large would go). You can use them either as a guide for helping you write up your own character, or you can pick up one of them and run with it, jumping straight into the game with only minor requirements to be accepted. Also, each and every one of these characters has a connection in game already set up, and some may have connections to other characters in the list as well!

If you want to pick up one of these characters, this is what you need to do:-

1. Look at the list of available adoptable characters on the character page.
2. Choose the character you want to pick up!
3. Check through the profile - if there's things you want to change, please talk to the mods about it!
4. Choose a PB for them.
5. Write up two writing samples - one should be a third person, past tense sample; the other a first person journal-style entry. Both should be at least 2 paragraphs long.
6. Send all of this information to the mods at epitaphrpg@gmail.com, together with a link to the profile you wish to adopt.
7. That's all!
