Outlets for Anger

Who: Megan and Sophie (NPC)
Where: Marquette - The Commune
When: Late Morning

Megan woke up feeling sick that morning as she tended to feel on the dawn of the new moon. It bothered her, made her feel weak. The new moon coming up always made her itch. Made her uncomfortable. She positively despised being unable to change. Hated that she was restricted from her freedom.

So it wasn't too odd that instead of going outside, Megan could be found in the basement in one of the storage rooms at her work bench carefully putting together another model airplane to hang from the ceiling. The trains were going; one around the molding of the room, the other on the large table. They chugged away, filling the room with sounds of motors and train whistles.

Dinner and a chat

Who: Blake and Megan
Where: Blake's house
When: Early evening

It was not a long walk to Mr. Blake's house as it was, to say, Tad's or the public library. The scenery was certainly nice, dead trees starting to sprout leaves, birds twittering away. Despite the chill in the air, Megan did not bundle up, the sun warm enough for her. She did wear a long sleeved button up and a black vest, jeans and converse as usual. A normal girl on the cusp of childhood and adulthood except for her eyes. Her bitter mood had deepened them to a darker than usual green and would probably glow in the dark if this were a movie.

Beyond Awesome

Who: Megan and Tad
Where: Marquette - Tad's house and town
When: Morning

She spent the morning, from dawn until about an hour ago, out at Blake's house. Normally, she'd be running through the woods, taking in the strong smell of damp ground and new leaves, stretching her legs out again after what felt like years. Instead, she'd walk to Blake's house and he taught her the basics of guns. How to take them apart, how to clean. Best way to use a weapon was to know how it worked after all.

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

Who: Dean and Megan
Where: Marquette - The Commune
When: Late Morning-ish

Megan was perched on the back of the couch in front of the window, staring at the depressing weather outside. Big, fluffy snowflakes falling, causing snowdrifts all over. It was getting kind of deep, making it difficult to run around outside so she was stuck inside for now. Cold paws were never fun. But she should've expected this. Happened every year like clockwork. It never happened at... home. Maybe because the compound was far enough south that once spring was coming around, the weather was ready to change and the nearest body of water was the Ohio River after all.

Be Sure to Bring the Pie

Who: Megan and Thia
Where: Marquette - Dean and Thia's Place
When: Afternoon

Living in the middle or Nowhere meant that the odds were in your favor of there being a four wheeler in the vicinity. The one in the garage was pretty old but there was gas and it worked just fine in the snow. When she mentioned that she was heading over to Thia and Dean's place, a basket with two pies and some cookies were shoved in. She recalled Dean's mention of Sophie being overly prepared and the thought stuck with her while she headed over the snowdrifts to the old house. She also had a bag with a change of clothes in it. It had been an after thought but Megan figured that if she wandered over in her wolf form, well, Thia's clothes wouldn't exactly fit her.

Who: Dorian and Megan
Where: Marquette - Alexandria
When: Afternoon

After pie and drinks with Thia, Megan took the four wheeler into town, contemplating what to do next. The irony was not lost on her that in her human form, she was content to ride around in just a leather jacket and the bare essentials for winter weather covering, yet she didn't want to trot around as a wolf.

Parking the vehicle under an overhang between two buildings, she slid off and looked around. What to do... Everything was fairly empty besides the occasional person shoveling sidewalks in front of their store and Megan liked it that way.

What she liked even more was the constant quiet of the bookshop across the street in front of her.

An Easy Toy to Wind

Who: Dorian and Megan
Where: Marquette - Around the park
When: Late Morning

Megan stood just inside the entrance of the park under a newly budding oak, watching a few kids playing on the equipment despite the slush on the ground. She stood there, rocking back and forth on her heels, trading the winter boots for a pair of red converse shows. With the lack of snowfall now, and the warmth creeping in, she wore a plain denim skirt and a white button up men's shirt, the sleeves rolled up under the black vest.

She reached into the back at her side, moving aside Dorian's book for the pack of menthols she bought earlier and her lighter, contemplating lighting one up. It's not that she was a smoker -- far from it -- but for some reason she had the want to.

Cavemen or Astronauts

Who: Emmit and Megan
Where: Marquette - Around Town
When: Evening

She didn't stop running, even when her lungs burned and her paws were numb from cold. She could endure it, no problem, even when she didn't have to but she was feeling off balance, sick and angry and tired and lonely and any negative emotion that you could possibly have. Although homicidal wasn't prevalent so that was a good thing at least.

So - did anyone else see the cops at the orphanage? They got there sometime last night and people have been hanging around all day. I kept an eye on it myself and saw a group go in this morning.

Anyway, looked up some sources and made some calls and apparently, it leads to something called 'the inbetween' - that's all I've got. Anyone know what that is?

Let's Try Here First

Who: Megan and Tad
Where: Marquette - Around Town
When: Afternoon

Megan stood in front of the high school, standing next to a lamp pole. It could be considered "stalker-like", the way she was standing and watching the front doors of the school, just not moving. Waiting. She sighed quietly, wondering if she had showed up too early but the last time she looked at the clock, she knew she was on time. So where was he? Although she was a bit relieved that he hadn't shown up yet. Tad's girlfriend (or lady friend?) was missing. She did what she could, getting a present for Tad that was currently tucked snugly in her bag.
